Jody Ono has over 8 years of work experience in firmware and software development. Their most recent role is as a Principal Firmware Engineer at DMF Lighting, where they are involved in embedded lighting control. Prior to that, they worked as a Firmware Consultant at Aldetec, developing embedded firmware for microwave amplifier control electronics. They also served as a Principal Software Engineer at FrontRow, developing hardware, firmware, and Windows applications for classroom A/V products. In addition, Jody has worked as an Embedded Systems Consultant at Wind Harvest, a Firmware Engineer at Synapse Product Development, and a Firmware Consultant at Lorom Cable & System Design, Flip Technologies, RGB Spectrum, Owlized, and Springer Design, Inc., where they contributed to various embedded firmware projects.

Jody Ono has a BSEE in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of California, Davis and an MS in Biomedical Engineering from California State University-Sacramento.
