Mark Ortiz currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at dLocal, having held the position since April 2024. Additionally, Mark is an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Board Audit Committee at Upgrade, Inc. since September 2021. Previously, Mark was Chief Financial Officer at Yugo and GSA - Global Student Accommodation from July 2022 to June 2023 and January 2022 to June 2023, respectively. Mark's extensive experience at GE from 1992 to 2021 included roles such as Global FP&A Leader and Chief Diversity Officer at GE Capital, CFO of Industrial Finance and Energy Financial Services, and various controller positions overseeing significant multibillion-dollar businesses. Mark holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Economics from Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business, awarded in 1992.
