Gimena Bernadet is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in various roles within leading technology companies. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at dLocal since July 2018, Gimena has also held positions as Technical Team Leader, Software Architect, and Senior Frontend Engineer, contributing to dLocal's reputation as a top payments leader in Latin America. Prior to this, Gimena held academic positions at Universidad ORT Uruguay, instructing courses in Software Architecture and frontend technologies. Experience includes roles at Arkano Software as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, where complex solutions were developed using agile methodologies, and as a teacher in the Jóvenes a Programar initiative, which focuses on training youth in programming. Gimena's technical expertise spans a range of technologies including Node.js, .NET Core, React, and Angular, supported by a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad de la República and certification in basic Gestalt Coaching skills.
