Shafiqul Islam is an IT Project Manager at GRSi, with extensive experience in product management and project oversight within various organizations, including ENQ LLC and the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Notable projects include the development of the Collaboration Health Information for Peer Support Specialists (CHIPSS) system, aimed at streamlining paperwork for social service agencies, and contributions to the Kirklin Institute for Research in Surgical Outcomes (KIRSO) focused on enhancing surgical quality through data registries and reports. Shafiqul has also held roles as a Chess Teacher and Research Fellow, and has a strong educational foundation with multiple degrees from UAB, including a Master of Science in Health Informatics and a Master’s in Management Information Systems, alongside a Bachelor’s in Public Relations.
