James Grey is a seasoned music professional with extensive experience in various roles within the industry. Currently serving as a Music Curator at Beatsource and a Music Editor at DJcity since 2018, James also holds the title of UK Champion for Red Bull 3style. As a Production Assistant at Capital Xtra, James collaborates with DJ and broadcaster Ras Kwame on the 'Reggae Recipe' show, engaging in tasks such as social media management, graphic design, audio editing, filming, interviews, and guest mixes. Since 2006, James has been a Disk Jockey under the name DJames, performing globally at diverse events. Additionally, James is the Founder of Ego and has previously toured as a DJ for Ministry of Sound. Educationally, James is an alumnus of the University of York, having graduated in 2009.
