Liam Dobson began their work experience in 2013 as a Client Relationship Manager at First State Super. Liam later transitioned to a Product Analyst role before leaving the company in October 2016. In 2015, Liam Dobson co-founded DIY Blinds and has since been involved in the company's operations.

Liam Dobson attended Marcellin College from 1993 to 1998, where they presumably completed their secondary education. After that, they enrolled at Monash University from 1999 to 2001 and obtained a Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree. Subsequently, Liam continued their studies at Monash University from 2002 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Business degree with a specialization in Banking & Finance.
