VP of Engineering and Construction at Divert

Chris Marlette has a comprehensive work experience in engineering and operations management. Chris is currently serving as the VP of Engineering and Construction at Divert since March 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of VP of Operations and Engineering from August 2015 to August 2022 at the same company. Before joining Divert, Chris worked as the Director of Engineering at Divert from August 2013 to August 2015.

Chris also has experience working at FRX Polymers, Inc. where they served as the Owner's Representative for a commercial-scale polymer plant in Antwerp, Belgium, managing the budget and schedule from September 2012 to November 2013.

Furthermore, Chris has worked at Aspen Aerogels in various positions. Chris was the Vice President of Engineering & Design from April 2011 to June 2012, overseeing process improvement projects and managing a significant budget. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Manufacturing and Engineering from February 2007 to April 2011 and as the Director of Plant Engineering & Maintenance from July 2004 to February 2007. In these roles, they managed teams and led the design and construction of a full-scale plant.

Earlier in their career, Chris worked at Dow Chemical in different roles, including Improvement Leader - Polyurethane Systems, North America from July 2001 to July 2004, Global Project Leader - Performance Foams from June 1997 to July 2001, Maintenance Leader - Hanging Rock Site from June 1998 to July 2000, and Production Engineer - Ethafoam® from June 1991 to June 1997. In these positions, they managed capital budgets, executed capacity expansion projects, and was responsible for maintenance and reliability.
