Dave Smithwick has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several years. Dave began their career in 1994 as a Helpdesk Analyst at ProSoft Consulting Inc., providing hardware and software support to multiple offices across the country. During this time, they also developed database applications in Access.
In 1996, Dave joined Data General as a Technical Support Agent before transitioning to Electronic Data Systems in 1997, where they worked as a Call Center Supervisor until 2001.
Following their tenure at Electronic Data Systems, Dave joined InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®) as a Computer Technician. Dave spent eight years in this role, supporting various computer systems and technologies.
In 2010, Dave started working at Lendlease as a Call Center Technician for a brief period before moving on to bibliotheca, where they worked from 2010 to 2016 as a 2nd Level Technical Support Specialist. Dave'sresponsibilities involved troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing support for RFID self-checkout kiosks, conducting telephone-based training for library staff, and managing various devices such as desktops, laptops, security gates, and handheld inventory RFID/bar code scanning units.
Currently, Dave is employed at DiversiTech Corporation as an Inside Sales & Operations Support team member, a role they started in 2017.
Dave Smithwick has studied Information Systems and Information Technology at Kennesaw State University. Additionally, they pursued a degree in Information Systems with a specialization in Information Technology from Reinhardt University.
