Ian Yocum has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Ian worked as a Software Engineer at Diversigen, Inc. in 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Software Developer at Credly from April 2018 to April 2020, where they were a full stack developer, specializing in Ruby on Rails and Backbone.js/React.js applications. Ian also worked as a Software Developer at Pearson VUE from June 2016 to April 2018, where their responsibilities included developing new procedures to improve code quality and site reliability. Before that, they were a Software Engineer at Digital River, leading the backend development for their client-facing administration portal for their e-commerce system. Ian implemented new security and authentication systems to ensure industry best practices. Ian's earlier experience includes roles as a System Developer and Programmer at USDA-ARS from June 2011 to July 2015.
