Andrea Wise is a seasoned visual strategy editor currently at ProPublica, where responsibilities include strategic planning for cross-functional collaborations, visually editing investigative stories, and developing best practices for sensitive content. With a strong background in visual storytelling, Wise co-founded Diversify Photo LLC, focusing on supporting BIPOC photographers with professional development and networking opportunities. Previous roles include photo editor at National Geographic and BuzzFeed, and project manager for Open Society Foundations. Wise holds a Master's degree in Photography from Syracuse University and a Bachelor's degree in Studio Arts from Trinity College-Hartford.
