Nir Ben Ezri has extensive experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) and Data Engineer. Starting in 2008, they worked as an Oracle DBA in the Israeli Air Force until 2013. Nir then joined Ex Libris as an Oracle DBA for a year. In 2015, they became a Senior DBA at Veracity before moving to ICE in 2017. At ICE, they held the role of Senior DBA & Data Engineer at the New York Stock Exchange, where they worked with various database systems such as Oracle, MySQL, and Postgres. Nir also utilized Big Data solutions like Hadoop, Casandra, Spark, and Impala to improve data processes performance, availability, and scalability. In 2020, Nir Ben Ezri joined DistroKid as a Senior DBA & Data Engineer and later became the Database Administrator Team Lead in June 2021.

Nir Ben Ezri completed a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and management from The College of Management Academic Studies from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, in 2008, they attended the Mamram Programming Course (IDF) and in 2005 to 2008, they studied computer science at Ort Givat-Ram College, earning an Engineer degree.
