Marissa Demers is an experienced product manager with a strong background in leading product development and enhancing user experiences. Currently serving as a Senior Product Manager at DistroKid since October 2021, Marissa previously held senior product management roles at Kickstarter, where responsibilities included overseeing creator tools, payments, and international expansion. Additional product management experience includes work at Squarespace and several positions at Kickstarter, such as managing backer experiences and community support operations. Prior to the tech industry, Marissa was a Senior Specialist in Internal Communications at Saks Fifth Avenue. Marissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film from Vassar College and an Associate of Arts in Visual Communications from FIDM, complemented by further education at General Assembly.
