Katherine Mulligan serves as the Director of Major Projects - Industrial at the District of Squamish since February 2017, where Katherine strategically oversees major industrial project responses and leads a cross-functional team to ensure compliance with project requirements. Previously, Katherine held the position of Economic Development Officer, directing the economic development team to align community outcomes with social, environmental, and financial objectives. Katherine's earlier experience at Destination Canada spanned over a decade, where roles included Manager of Global Communications Programs & Initiatives, Senior Analyst for Stakeholder Relations, and Senior Policy Analyst and Communication Advisor, focusing on tourism policy and stakeholder engagement. Katherine's academic credentials include a Project Management Certificate from McMaster University and multiple certificates in Executive Management and Essential Management Skills from UBC Sauder School of Business, along with a Diploma of Technology in Marketing Management from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
