Mike Veenbaas, CPA, CMA, currently holds the position of Director of Financial Services and Chief Financial Officer at the District of Kent since April 2020. Previously, Mike served as Director of Financial Services and Chief Financial Officer at Fraser Valley Regional District from October 2012 to April 2020 and held multiple roles at the City of Abbotsford from March 2000 to October 2012, including Revenue Manager, Budget Manager, Disbursements Manager, and Financial Analyst. Mike's educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of the Fraser Valley and certification from the Certified Management Accountants Society of British Columbia.
