Brian Chan is an experienced Data Engineer currently employed at District 4 Labs since November 2023. Previously, Brian held the position of Integration Engineer at LivCor, a Blackstone Portfolio Company, from March 2020 to September 2023, where responsibilities included automating data extraction from Oracle PBCS using Python and integrating data into Snowflake for analytical use. Brian also served as a System Support Analyst in Business Intelligence at LivCor, automating data extraction and creating weekly reports to provide key performance indicators. Earlier experience includes an Analyst role at the Chicago Transit Authority, utilizing Python, AWS, and PL/SQL to enhance data management for the bus maintenance department, and a Data Science Internship at TSYS, focusing on credit card fraud detection models. Brian's career began as an Assistant Manager in IT, Inventory, and Data at Novohaus Trading Corp, supporting business growth and software development. Brian holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Roosevelt University.
