Alma Vera has a strong background in quality assurance (QA) work. Alma is currently working at Distillery as a Sr. QA Engineer and QA Analyst, starting in August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Softtek from March 2014 to November 2021 as a QA Lead. In this role, they were responsible for analyzing requirements, planning strategies, managing tasks and resources, creating test cases and performance scripts, and reporting results to managers. Before Softtek, Alma worked at Pounce Consulting from September 2012 to March 2014 as a QA Lead. In this role, they performed similar responsibilities to the Softtek position. Alma'sQA career began at Softtek in October 2009, where they worked as a Manual Tester and eventually became a QA Lead. Alma created and executed test cases, reported results to application owners at Penske, and managed tasks and resources for release date coverage. Alma has consistently demonstrated their expertise and leadership in QA throughout their work experience.

Alma Vera obtained their Engineer's degree in Electronic Engineering from the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California, where they studied from 2002 to 2006.
