Woon Ong is an accomplished visual effects professional with extensive experience in compositing and lighting. Currently serving as Lead Compositor at DistilleryVFX since September 2022, Woon previously held the position of Senior Compositor at Industrial Light & Magic from September 2015 to September 2022 and at MPC for a brief period in 2015. Woon's earlier roles include Senior Compositor at Double Negative and Digital Compositor at Industrial Light & Magic, along with a notable tenure as a Lighting/Compositing Artist for Lucasfilm Animation, contributing to 23 episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Woon began the career as a 3D generalist at VHQ in 2007. Educationally, Woon earned a Diploma in Digital Media Design from Nanyang Polytechnic from 2001 to 2003.
