Mattias Engdahl

Head of User Support and Engagement at Displayr

Mattias Engdahl has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Mattias started their career at RONIN Corporation in 2002, initially working as a Call Centre Administrator and later transitioning to the role of DP Executive. During their tenure, they designed procedural flows for call center management and enforced quality management processes.

In 2005, Engdahl joined Research International as an IS Analyst. Mattias then moved on to Research Now in 2007, where they held multiple roles including Quality and Learning Manager, Operations Team Leader, and Project Manager/Senior Project Manager. In these positions, they played a key role in setting up management systems and processes for ISO 20252 accreditation, training and coaching teams, and improving overall quality and productivity.

Engdahl joined Survey Sampling International in 2010 as a Training and Quality Manager. Mattias was responsible for establishing and training teams on quality management systems and technical processes. In 2011, they co-founded Data Squirrels and served as the Operations Manager. Mattias managed a team and ensured timely delivery of projects.

From 2014 to 2015, Engdahl worked as a Data Analytics Manager at House of Brand. Mattias managed stakeholders, implemented technical processes to enhance productivity, and enforced data quality control. In 2016, they freelanced at Semeion Data for a brief period.

Finally, Engdahl joined Displayr in 2016 and currently serves as the Head of User Support and Engagement. Their responsibilities include providing customer support, training support agents, and simplifying complex software products for clients. Mattias also conducts churn prevention activities and holds meetings with key clients.

Mattias Engdahl's education history begins in 1996 at the University of Gothenburg, where they studied English, Mathematics, Paleography, and Classical Archaeology for one year. Mattias then attended UCL from 1997 to 2000, earning a BA (hons) degree in Greek and Roman Archaeology. Following this, they continued their education at UCL from 2000 to 2001, obtaining an MA degree in Comparative Art and Archaeology.

In addition to their formal education, Mattias has also obtained several certifications. In 2014, they completed the Coursera Verified Certificates for courses such as "The Data Scientist's Toolbox", "R Programming", "Getting and Cleaning Data", and "Exploratory Data Analysis". Mattias further enhanced their skills in R programming by completing online courses from DataCamp, including "Introduction to R", "Intro to Statistics with R: Introduction", "Intermediate R", "Data Visualization in R with ggvis", and "Data Manipulation in R with dplyr". In 2016, they obtained certifications in "Essential Fundamentals of R" and "Extra Fundamentals of R" from Udemy. Recently, in 2019, Mattias completed the "Inspiring and Motivating Individuals" course offered by Coursera.
