Emi Lea Kamemoto is the Founder and Consultant at Defiant Changemakers Consulting, specializing in inclusive change management and social impact consultancy since January 2020. With a strong background in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategy, Kamemoto served as Senior Project Manager and DEI Consultant at Farzana Nayani Consulting & Training, where comprehensive DEI roadmaps were developed for various organizations. Experience includes co-founding and overseeing Strong Asian Lead, a nonprofit aimed at empowering Asian Pacific individuals in the entertainment industry, and leading HR strategy and development initiatives at Creative Artists Agency. Kamemoto has also held key roles in gender equity and inclusion consulting, project management, and human resource coordination across several organizations, and possesses a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from The George Washington University.
