Marko Mikkonen is a Senior Expert in Algorithms at Disior, with a career that includes roles as Expert and Principal Developer in the same field since August 2020. Prior to this, Marko Mikkonen served as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Doctoral Candidate at Aalto University from October 2015 to June 2020, focusing on computational modeling of non-invasive brain stimulation and completing a dissertation on individualized modeling of transcranial direct current stimulation. Marko Mikkonen also held various research assistant positions at Aalto University from 2011 to 2015, engaging in projects related to bioadaptive technology and electroretinographic studies. Marko Mikkonen holds a Doctor of Science in Bioelectronics and Instrumentation, a Master of Science in Bioadaptive Technology/Biomechanics, and a Bachelor of Science in Biotronics/Bioengineering, all from Aalto University.
