Alissa Parks is an experienced education professional with a strong background in establishing and nurturing partnerships within the educational sector. Currently serving as the Director of Education Partnerships at Discovery Education since June 2022, Alissa focuses on transforming teaching and learning through customized digital solutions for school districts. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Education Partnerships at Discovery Inc from 2016 to June 2022, and Education Outreach Specialist at K2Share, where Alissa worked on curriculum alignment and professional development. Additionally, Alissa has held positions as Special Education Coordinator at Atlanta Public Schools and Autism Specialist at Ludlow Public Schools, demonstrating expertise in behavioral analysis and staff training.
