Meghan Ryan, MSEd, is an experienced education professional currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Samuel Staples since May 2024 and as a Long Term Substitute Teacher in Fairfield Public Schools since November 2023, providing targeted support for students in reading, writing, and math. Meghan has a diverse background in early childhood education, having worked as a Preschool Teacher at Presbyterian Nursery School and a Deep Play for Kids Teacher since September 2022 and December 2019, respectively, focusing on mindfulness and relaxation techniques. Previous roles include Developmental Therapist and Service Coordinator at TheraCare, Head Teacher at Harbor Light Preschool Academy, and Special Education Teacher at Harbor Light Therapy & Social Center. Meghan holds dual master's degrees in General and Special Education from Bank Street College and has extensive experience implementing play-based learning, ABA techniques, and collaborating with families and service providers to support children's developmental goals.
