Thomas Waugh has a wealth of experience in operations and customer solutions. Thomas began their career in 1981 with Roadway Express, where they held various progressive leadership roles in operations. In 1987, they joined Airborne Express as a District Service Assurance Manager. Thomas then moved to Burlington Air Express in 1991, where they held various progressive leadership roles in Operations. In 1998, they joined BAX Global as Director of the BAX Transportation Network Control/ Customer Support, where they provided leadership in the area of Transportation Network Operations, including schedule development, carrier management, demand management and charter sales. Thomas also provided leadership and development for a tactical team that managed freight demand for all modes to match capacity with demand across the domestic network. In 2011, they joined BX Solutions as Director of Operations/ Customer Solutions, where they developed and implemented operational processes, procedures and KPIs to support client objectives. Thomas also actively managed the operation to provide best in class service and operational efficiency. In 2016, they joined Discover Books as Director of Operations.
Thomas Waugh obtained a Bachelor's degree and a BS in Education from The Ohio State University between 1975 and 1980.
