Tory S. serves as the Director of Engineering at Discord since October 2021, leading the Revenue Growth organization. Previously, Tory S. held the position of Senior Engineering Manager at Uber Freight from August 2019 to October 2021, where responsibilities included building Uber's first engineering team in Chicago. Before that, Tory S. was an Engineering Manager II at Uber from March 2015 to August 2019, playing a key role as the founding engineer for the Marketplace Fares Team and managing a team of over 20 individuals during a critical growth phase. Starting the career as a Software Engineer at Amazon from June 2012 to March 2015, Tory S. focused on backend services for the Kindle experience. Tory S. holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Saint Louis University.
