Mélanie HACHET has over 8 years of work experience in the bioinformatics field. Mélanie began their career in 2012 as a Trainee at the Institut Pasteur, where they worked on bioinformatics for genomic analysis. Mélanie then moved to INRA Versailles as a Bioinformatics Engineer, where they worked on RNA-Seq data analysis to characterize “RNase Three Like 2” (RTL2) role in epigenetic regulation of small RNAs on Arabidopsis thaliana. In 2016, they moved to Columbia University Medical Center as a Data Analyst in Bioinformatics. Finally, in 2017, they began working as a Scientific Project Manager at Discngine.
Mélanie HACHET obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from CY Cergy Paris Université between 2009 and 2010. Mélanie then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) between 2010 and 2012.
