Michael Jett is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in accounting and business operations. Currently serving as the Controller and Manager of Accounting Systems at Discipleship Ministries within The United Methodist Church since November 2012, Michael oversees accounting technology and systems while managing daily operations of the finance department. Prior roles include Associate Director of Business Operations at The Upper Room, where responsibilities encompassed cost analysis and financial reporting, and Senior Accountant at Whirlpool Corporation, where significant cost reductions were achieved through innovative product-costing systems. Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Business/Management from Middle Tennessee State University and an Associate degree in Business from Columbia State Community College.
