Elza Soares is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management, education, and instructional design. Currently serving as a Project Manager, Research and Evaluation, and Grant Manager at Discipleship Ministries of The United Methodist Church since July 2019, Elza specializes in connecting strategic priorities with stakeholder needs through data-driven analysis. Previous roles include Higher Education Adjunct Faculty at Argosy University, Global Travel Support Lead for the General Council on Finance and Administration of The United Methodist Church, and Learning Sciences Consultant at Maple Bear Canadian School. Elza also contributed to educational initiatives for the Rio 2016 Organizing Committee and holds advanced degrees in Education from Virginia Tech and Tennessee State University, complemented by a foundational degree in English Language and Literature from Universidade Veiga de Almeida.
