Carsten Aschim has extensive experience in emergency management and safety, currently serving as a ³§±ð²Ô¾±´Ç°ù°ùÃ¥»å²µ¾±±¹±ð°ù at the Direktoratet for samfunnssikkerhet og beredskap (DSB) since April 2013, focusing on fire and rescue operations. Prior roles include advising for the Fylkesmannen i Vestfold, where responsibilities involved planning crisis exercises, and leadership positions in Østre Toten Brannvesen and Sivilforsvarets Beredskaps- og kompetansesenter Oppland, overseeing training and emergency response exercises. Carsten Aschim began a career in operational ambulance services with the Ambulansetjenesten i Østre Toten. Educational credentials feature a master thesis in Risk and Safety Management from the University of Stavanger, as well as various qualifications from institutions in Norway.
