Scott West has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Scott currently holds the position of Vice President at Directional Services, Inc. since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at NextEra Energy Resources from 2018 to 2022, where they held various roles, including Senior Project Manager in Mergers & Acquisitions and Sustainable Water, Senior Project Manager in Energy Storage/Solar, and Senior Project Manager. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at GE Power as a Design Engineering Manager, leading major projects and managing diverse teams. Before that, they served as the Instrument and Controls Department Head at NextEra Energy Services from 1998 to 2014, responsible for budgets and management of various departments. Scott'scareer began at Exelon Nuclear in 1994, where they worked as an Instrument Maintenance Technician, specializing in instrumentation and electronics.

Scott West attended Hamilton Technical College from 1991 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Electronics Engineering Technology.
