Melanie Hayes has a diverse work experience in the field of safety and environmental management. Melanie started their career in 2019 as a Safety Specialist at Environmental Consultants (ECI), where they worked until 2020. Melanie then joined Davey Resource Group, Inc. as an Environmental Specialist from September 2020 to March 2021. In 2021, Melanie worked at ACRT as a Utility Safety Specialist from March to August. Melanie also had a role as a Utility Safety Coordinator at Directional Services, Inc. from August 2021 to August 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Safety Program Manager at Directional Services, Inc. starting from August 2022.

Melanie Hayes holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Biology from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. In addition, they have obtained various certifications related to occupational safety and health.
