Arina McDonald serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors at Direct Transact since February 2021, focusing on corporate governance. Additionally, Arina is a member of the Board of Advisors and acts as an Independent Business Consultant at Sinapi Biomedical since February 2018. Previous professional experience includes the role of Chief Financial Officer at Atlas Mara Ltd. from October 2014 to September 2017, where Arina contributed to creating a premier financial institution in Sub-Saharan Africa. Arina also held various senior financial positions at Standard Bank Group from January 2002 to September 2014, including Head of Central Finance and CFO Africa. Prior experience includes roles at Goldman Sachs, PwC, and Coopers & Lybrand. Arina holds a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) designation and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy from the University of Pretoria.
