Omar Vargas has extensive experience in maintenance engineering and management, with a strong focus on the converting and automotive industries. Currently serving as Gerente de Extrusion at Direct Pack, Inc. since January 2020, Omar oversees machinery maintenance and plant operations for PET film extrusion. Previously, as a Senior Maintenance Engineer at UPM - The Biofore Company, Omar played a key role in establishing the Guadalajara plant and managing various engineering processes, including safety protocols and maintenance plans. Additional experience includes positions at CONVERTIDORA INDUSTRIAL SA DE CV, Grupo Textil CarVar, and Henniges Automotive, highlighting a career dedicated to continuous improvement and technical expertise in maintenance.
