Ben Vanspringel has worked as a Software Engineer at Direct Energy Partners and DCINERGY since April 2022. Prior to these positions, they were a Junior consultant at ALTEN BELGIUM from November 2020 to April 2022. Additionally, they completed a Research Internship at Ecorus in July and August of 2019.

Ben Vanspringel obtained their Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science from KU Leuven, which they completed from 2015 to 2018. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the same institution, graduating in 2020.
