Sophie Li is an experienced language educator specializing in Chinese Mandarin with a diverse professional background. Currently serving as Language Training Supervisor at Diplomatic Language Services since January 2020, Sophie has held various roles within the organization, including Language Training Specialist and Chinese Mandarin Instructor. Prior experience includes teaching at the International Language Institute in Washington, DC, and serving as an administrative officer at 香港大学SPACE公司研究院 (SEA). Sophie also spent a decade at Mandarin House as a Chinese teacher, focusing on group and individual lessons, and providing tailored support for students preparing for HSK exams. Additionally, Sophie has offered private lessons targeting business Chinese needs, and has developed new clientele while managing class schedules. Sophie holds a Master of Arts in International Education Leadership and Change from The Education University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor's degree in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language from Beijing Language and Culture University.
