Edward Malins has a diverse work experience. Edward is currently working as an R&D Engineer at Dioxycle since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Polymer Chemist at Innospec Fuel Specialties LLC from October 2015 to March 2021. Edward was also a Postgraduate Research Associate at Queen Mary University of London from October 2013 to September 2015. Before that, they worked as a PhD Student at the University of Warwick from October 2011 to September 2015. Edward started their career as a Lab Assistant at Camgrain Stores Limited in July 2009 for a short period of one month.

Edward Malins began their education at Linton Village College from 2001 to 2006. Edward then attended Hills Road Sixth Form College from 2006 to 2008, where they received their A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths. Edward went on to study at the University of Warwick from 2008 to 2011, earning their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry. Edward continued their education at the same university and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Polymer Chemistry from 2011 to 2015.
