Weldon Beardain has extensive work experience in the semiconductor industry. Weldon started their career at Texas Instruments in 1981, where they served as a Designer and Senior Analog Design Engineer. During this time, they gained expertise in BiCMOS and Bipolar analog circuit design, semiconductor device physics, and analog product engineering. Weldon successfully designed high volume analog products and provided technical support to other designers and marketing teams. In 1995, they joined Texas Instruments Military Products Group, where they worked in technical marketing and MCM production, contributing to the adoption of TI's military modules and digital signal processors in various platforms. In 2009, they joined Diodes Inc as a Business Development Manager, where they introduced numerous logic products and contributed to the development of new logic families. Throughout their career, they managed and mentored teams of engineers and technicians, providing product engineering support for a wide range of analog components.
Weldon Beardain started their education in 1973 at West Texas A&M University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. Weldon successfully completed their degree in 1979. Later, from 1986 to 1988, they attended Texas Tech University and focused on Electrical Engineering, although they did not obtain a specific degree in this field.
