Lee Riley has a diverse work experience. Lee started their career as a Process Development Engineer at Diodes Incorporated in January 2001 and worked in this role until April 2006. During this time, they gained experience in wafer fabrication, yield improvement, process simulation, and equipment procurement. Lee then transitioned to the role of Discrete Design Engineer at the same company in April 2006 and is currently serving as the Discrete Design Manager since October 2020. In these roles, they were responsible for concept to release utilizing CAD device and process simulation, mask and process design, product delivery, and characterization. Lee worked on various projects involving power MOS based rectifiers, trench Schottky devices, PFC diodes, tandem diodes, trench MOSFETs, and field-plated trench MOSFETs. Prior to their time at Diodes Incorporated, Lee Riley worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Liverpool from January 1996 to December 2000, where they worked on plasma oxidation of SiGe for device applications under the guidance of Professor Steve Hall.
Lee Riley completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Semiconductor Devices from the University of Liverpool. This educational achievement took place between 1997 and 2001.
