Guy Hewlett has extensive experience within both religious and public service sectors. Currently serving as Joint Dean for retired clergy and bereaved clergy spouses in the Diocese of Worcester since September 2022, Hewlett has been a member of the Church of England since June 1996, holding various positions including Priest, Vicar at St Michael and All Angels Harrow Weald, and Team Rector for the Parish of Gornal and Sedgley from September 2017 to March 2022. Prior to their ecclesiastical roles, Hewlett worked as a Healthcare Chaplain at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust from September 2013 to July 2017 and served in the Metropolitan Police from July 1979 to September 1999, where responsibilities included Police Officer, Police Trainer, and Staff Development Officer at Hendon Police College.
