Susan Hales is an experienced financial professional with over 25 years in various accounting and financial management roles. Currently serving as the Financial Reporting Manager at the Diocese of St. Petersburg since February 2017, Susan prepares consolidated quarterly financial statements for multiple not-for-profit units. Previous positions include Accounting Manager for the City of Tarpon Springs, Senior Accountant at West Coast Medical Resources, and Financial Analyst at Suncoast Hospice, showcasing a strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliation. Notable earlier roles include Director of Financial Operations at St. Vincent’s Health System and Assistant Controller at Brookwood Medical Center, both of which involved oversight of financial operations and team management. Susan holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of South Alabama and additional education from the University of Southern Mississippi.
