Katherine (Katie) Oubre has extensive experience in archives and records management, currently serving as Vice-Chancellor for Archives and Records at the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois since December 2016. In previous roles, Katie was the Director of the Office for Archives and Records Management and an Associate Archivist, where responsibilities included providing archival services, arranging historical records, and managing day-to-day archival operations. Prior experience at the Diocese of Baton Rouge included positions as Associate Archivist and Assistant Archivist, focusing on the preservation and promotion of diocesan records and providing research support. Katie holds a Master of Library & Information Science with a specialization in Archives/Archival Administration from Louisiana State University, as well as a Master of Arts in Classics from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from the University of Iowa.
