Sylvia Martinez currently serves as the Associate Director of Facilities, Planning, and Services for the Diocese of Oakland, where support is provided for facilities, real estate, and planning across a vast area encompassing over 1,400 square miles, 80+ parishes, 11 pastoral centers, and 41 schools. Prior to this role, Sylvia held the position of SFC Construction Project Manager at Shea Homes, managing charitable grant building improvements in Catholic schools across Northern California. Earlier career experience includes roles such as Land Acquisition Assistant/Associate, Property Manager, Development Coordinator, and Project Manager at Shea Properties, and various positions within Shea Homes, demonstrating an extensive background in project management, land acquisition, and facilities support. Sylvia has developed a multifaceted skill set over years of dedicated service in the real estate and construction sectors. Educational background includes attendance at Las Positas College.
