Carey Dawson has worked in the software industry for over 38 years. They began their career in 1982 as a Sr Systems Engineer at Texaco. In 1990, they moved to BMC Software as a Technical Support Engineer. In 1995, they joined Computer Associates (CA) - XECA as a Technical Support Engineer with a primary focus on debugging problems with the database engine. In 2002, they joined OpenTech Systems as a Technical Support Engineer. From 2003 to 2008, they worked as a Mainframe Tape Migration Specialist, planning, engineering, and conducting virtual tape migrations for some of the world's leading corporations and state governments. In 2008, they moved to Rocket Software as a Technical Support Engineer. Finally, in 2018, they joined Dino Software as a Software Technician.
Carey Dawson obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) from East Texas Baptist University in the fields of business, computer science, and accounting.
