Rich Cross has worked as a software engineer since 2001. From 2001 to 2003 they worked as a Graphics Programmer at Extreme FX. Rich then worked as a Systems Software Engineer at Games Media from 2003 to 2007. From 2007 to 2013 they were the Lead Technology Programmer at VooFoo Studios. From 2013 to 2017 they were the Co-Founder and Development Director at RetroFist Ltd. From 2017 to 2018 they were the Lead Real Time Developer at Axis Animation. Rich has been a Senior Software Engineer at Edify.ac since 2018 and is currently a Senior Software Engineer at DI4D.

Rich Cross attended the University of Birmingham from 1993 to 1996, where they earned a degree in Mathematics, with a field of study in Mathematics.
