Mazen Chaaraoui began their work experience in 2016 as an Online Tutor at Chegg Inc. Mazen then moved on to work as a Security Guard at TOERSA Security Inc. from July 2016 to January 2017. In 2017, Mazen worked as a Drafting Technician at the Department of National Defence from May 2017 to March 2018. Currently, Mazen is employed as a Structural Engineer at Dillon Consulting Limited, where they work on the design and analysis of bridges, culverts, and retaining walls. Their responsibilities include designing new bridges, evaluating existing structures, and designing rehabilitation projects.

Mazen Chaaraoui completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Civil Engineering at Carleton University from 2012 to 2016. Afterwards, they pursued a Masters of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Structural Engineering at the same university from 2017 to 2018. In addition to their educational achievements, Mazen obtained certifications in First Aid CPR Level C from the Canadian Red Cross in June 2016, as well as a Security Licence from Ontario Security Training in the same month and year.
