Gregory Benke

Lead Robotics Technician at Diligent Robotics

Gregory Benke has a long and varied work experience. Gregory began their career in 2004 with the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Electrical and Environmental Technician. In 2006 they moved to AgustaWestland as an Avionics Assembly Line Technician. In 2007 they joined the Delaware Air National Guard as a Unit Career Advisor and Aircraft Electrical and Environmental Shop Supervisor. In 2010 they moved to Carson Helicopters as an Avionics Technician and Crew Lead. In 2012 they joined Lockheed Martin as a Sr. Technician Process Specialist. In 2014 they joined SpaceX as a Materials Test Technician, Test Operations Specialist, and Instrumentation Test Technician. In 2015 they returned to the Texas Air National Guard as an Aircraft Electrical and Environmental Shop Chief and Supervisor. In 2019 they joined Firefly Aerospace as a Lead Avionics Technician and Sr. Data and Controls Technician. Finally, in 2021 they joined Diligent Robotics as a Lead Robotics Technician and Sr. Robotics Technician, and Hi-Tek Professionals, Inc. as an Aircraft Maintenance D, Electrical, Technician (Contractor at L3Harris).

Gregory Benke has a diverse educational background. Gregory earned a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management from DeVry University in 2013, an AAS in Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technology/Technician from the Community College of the Air Force between 2004 and 2017, and attended Airmen Leadership School in 2007. Gregory also received professional development and leadership training from the Noncommissioned Officer Academy in 2017. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in 2002, a Certificate in the field of Automotive Technology from North Montco Technical Career Center in 2002, a Pennsylvania Skills Certificate in Automotive Technology from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Education Bureau of Career and Technical Education in 2002, and IPC/WHMA-A-620 Requirements & Acceptance for Cable & Wire Harness Assemblies from OMNI TRAINING CORP. in 2021.
