Kelly Ivahnenko has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2003 as a Special Events Coordinator for Congressman Chris Cox. In 2011, Ivahnenko became the Chief of Staff for U.S. Customs and Border Protection and in 2012, the Director of Communications Management Office for the Office of Field Operations. In 2015, Ivahnenko took on the role of Senior Communications Advisor for U.S. Customs and Border Protection and in 2016, the Deputy Chief of Staff for the Office of Trade. In 2017, Ivahnenko became the Deputy Communications Director for the North Dakota Office of the Governor and in 2018, a Communications Professional for Team ND. In 2010, Ivahnenko started Lakebrat, LLC and in 2022, became the Program Strategy Manager for Dignari, LLC.
Kelly Ivahnenko obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and Spanish from the University of North Dakota between 1997 and 2001. Kelly also studied International Studies and Spanish at the University of North Dakota from 1999 to 2001. In 2021, Ivahnenko obtained a certification in Becoming an Impactful and Influential Leader from LinkedIn. In 2020, they obtained a certification in Thriving @ Work: Leveraging the Connection between Well-Being and Productivity from LinkedIn.
