Shir Aviv has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. From 2014-2017, they were a Commander and Commander's Trainer and "Mashakit Tash" for the Israel Defense Forces. From 2017-2022, they worked as a Psychometric teacher for Kidum and a Senior Researcher for the Tel Aviv Medical Center. Currently, they are a Medical Database Analyst for DigitalOwl.

Shir Aviv is currently enrolled at Tel Aviv University's Sackler Faculty of Medicine, having started in 2019.
