Steve Allen is an experienced professional with a strong background in health, nutrition, and agricultural investment. As a Partner and Venture Partner at Digitalis Ventures since February 2016, Steve focuses on investing in innovative health solutions. Steve has served as Former Chairman of the Board and Board Director at ChromaDex since January 2014, contributing to the development of proprietary ingredient technologies. In November 2013, Steve co-founded Nutrition Capital Network, which connects entrepreneurs in the nutrition and food sectors with investors. Steve also holds the position of Managing Member at California Agricultural Orchards LLC, managing investments in farmland, primarily almonds and table grapes, since June 2011. As Vice-Chairman (Non-Executive) of 6 Pacific Partners, Steve explores and assesses investment opportunities. With extensive experience in business development from a tenure at Nestlé from 1980 to 2009, along with an academic foundation in Human Nutrition and Food Science from the University of London and University of Leeds, Steve Allen brings a wealth of expertise to the nutrition and investment fields.
