Sandra Allison

Sandra Allison has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Sandra began their career as a Human Resources Manager at Alliance Films Inc, where they managed various HR functions during a transitional period. After three months, they were hired full time and gained exposure to the full spectrum of HR responsibilities. Sandra then moved on to work as a Human Resources/Labour Relations Manager at Loblaw Companies Limited, where they provided HR support to franchise owners in Ontario. Sandra was responsible for handling employee relations issues and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. Sandra then worked as a Human Resources Manager at Perfit Computer Systems Group Inc, where they built an HR department from scratch and focused on recruitment, culture-building, and employee development. Sandra later joined Vend as a People Experience & Development Manager, where they created programs and initiatives to support personal and career growth for employees. Sandra also contributed to the development of a global leadership program. Sandra then worked as a Director of People Experience at Coinsquare, a leading platform for trading digital currencies. Currently, they are the Vice President of People & Culture at DigitalEd, overseeing the employee journey and fostering a transparent and productive work environment.

Sandra Allison earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Human Resources Management from the University of Guelph, which they attended from 2003 to 2007. Sandra has also obtained additional certifications including a Certificate in HR Law for HR Professionals from Osgoode Law School in 2013 and a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation from the Human Resources Professional Association in 2012.
