Ned Sherman has a strong background in the entertainment and technology industries. Ned is currently serving as the Chief Business Affairs & Legal Officer at Skybound Entertainment, a multi-platform entertainment company. In this role, they have management responsibilities and provides strategic oversight across all legal and business affairs.

Prior to their current position, Ned co-founded and served as a General Partner at GOAL Ventures since 2018. Before that, they were the Co-Founder & Chairman of Digital Media Wire, a consulting firm representing entertainment and technology brands. Ned held this position from 2002.

Ned also serves as a Board Member for SHRAPNEL and Launch Esports, and as an Advisor for Subnation, 4D Factory, and Sky Carousel.

Additionally, they have worked at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP as a Partner and Investment Committee Member from 2017 to 2022. Previously, they were the Managing Partner and Co-Head of Digital Entertainment World, LLC at IDG from 2013 to 2016.

Ned Sherman attended Brown University from 1986 to 1990, where they earned an A.B. degree with honors in Political Science. In 1991, they enrolled at The University of Texas School of Law and completed their J.D. in Corporate & International law in 1994. Recently, in 2018-2019, Ned pursued further education at HEC Paris and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Innovation & Entrepreneurship. In 2021, they enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law for the VC University program, in partnership with the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA). Additionally, Ned holds a Certificate in Venture Finance from VC University, obtained in May 2021, and is an active member of the State Bar of California.
